The first NHS hospital in the West Midlands to set up a successful IVF programme, In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) was first undertaken at the centre in 1990 following a successful charity appeal to set up the unit. This makes the CRM Coventry one of the longest serving and established centres in the UK, which has performed thousands of cycles of IVF and ICSI in addition to thousands of other treatments to help treat infertility or recurrent miscarriage.
